Finding your passion is key. Especially in the early days of toiling away with little reward. Like anything, starting a career or online blog takes a lot of effort at the start. If your following your passion, you don’t view this as effort though – you view it as a chance to sharpen your skills in an area that you love.

Hi David,
It’s always easier to do something when you love to do it. Starting a blog and turning it into a successful online business isn’t easy.
So, you need to choose something that you’re passionate about so that it’s more a labour of love. Time flies when you’re having fun.

Hi Jazz,
Thanks for this post. Finding your passion is something which hasn’t come easy to me as I have been so busy bringing up my children I have more or less put myself on the back burner. (willingly) Now they are becoming more self sufficient, I have been able to have a little time to explore what I like doing so hopefully a passion will emerge.

Hi Jackie,
It’s not easy being a Mum. I think it’s in the job description that your life is no longer your own once you have children. It’s great that you are starting to look for your passion.
It’s not always easy to find it. I think you need to listen to your heart and work to your strengths. Don’t rush it Jackie. It will come to you.

Hi Shekhar,
Thank-you for dropping by. You’ve done really well to find your passion and be so good at it. A lot of people struggle to even know what their passion is let alone have it work for them.

Hi Jazz,
Finding ones passion is not an easy task for me as I have been pondering on this for some time now. I asked a friend last year if they could help me with this and they said to me that I am passionate about finding something to be passionate about… as you can imagine this did not really help much & my quest goes on. : )

Yes, finding your passion might be easier said than done, but I think you’ll have one of those “A-ha!” moments as soon as you figure it out.
Working for yourself won’t even feel like work if you’re doing something you love, which will make things a whole lot easier. Attempting to write a blog on a topic that’s trendy or popular might be a good idea at the moment, but it won’t be easy if it’s a topic that doesn’t interest you whatsoever.

Hi Jazz
Great questions you set out there to help with finding your passion, something so many of us struggle with. Very helpful list to help someone discover (or probably, rediscover) what’s important to them and what they love.

Hi Tegan,
Thanks for taking the time to read my post. I think living the life of your dreams all starts with finding your passion. Sometimes though, that’s easier said than done.

Hi Lina,
Sometimes it’s not easy finding your passion. I think some people are natural dreamers and completely in touch with the things that they’re passionate about. It wasn’t that way for me but I finally got there in the end.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for taking the time to come by. You’re right; when you work at something you love, it doesn’t even feel like work. It can be a really frustrating experience trying to find your passion if you don’t know what it is. But, when you do eventually find it; the world is never the same again.

Hi Jeremy,
It’s okay; I had the same problem. I always thought following your passion was for someone that didn’t have responsibilities. Then I discovered that finding your passion was the whole point of life.
In your quiet moments; what is the one thing you think about and wish you could do? What are you too afraid to tell your family and friends that you want to do because you worry they’ll think you’re stupid and say you can’t do it?
